[Deutsche Bank: Trump's attacks on US institutions pose a threat to the dollar] Analysts at Deutsche Bank, led by Michael Pfister, stated in a report that Trump's attacks on the Fed and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics pose a threat to the outlook for the dollar. Trump criticized Fed Chairman Powell again on Tuesday for not lowering interest rates. Trump also threatened to sue Powell over the expensive renovation costs of the Fed's Washington headquarters. On Monday, Trump nominated conservative think tank economist Anthony to replace the Bureau of Labor Statistics director he fired earlier this month.
