OPEC+ is reportedly said to have reached a protocol to postpone the production increase plan.

According to representatives who wish to remain anonymous, the main members of OPEC+ will not increase production by 180,000 barrels per day in October as planned, and the decision to increase production will be postponed for two months. Under the leadership of Saudi Arabia and Russia, OPEC+ reached a consensus in June on a roadmap for gradually restoring supply. However, the organization has been indecisive since the plan was announced, repeatedly emphasizing that it may "pause or reverse" the production increase if necessary. After the announcement of the decision to postpone the production increase, international oil prices rose, with both WTI and Brent rising by more than 1.2%.
