Hong Kong VMS makes its first move into the encryption field, planning to allocate 10 million USD to a Hedging fund.

PANews reported on June 24 that it was reported that VMS Group, a multi-family office in Hong Kong, plans to allocate no more than $10 million to the strategy operated by the decentralized hedge fund Re7 Capital (the allocation scale has not yet been finalized), marking the first foray into the crypto field for the wealth management institution with nearly $4 billion in assets under management. Elton Cheung, managing partner of VMS, said the move was intended to address the declining liquidity of traditional private equity while responding to the growing demand for digital assets from clients. Zhi Li, head of VMS London, added that the group is exploring the integration of crypto payments into its holding of real estate projects in Vietnam and has observed a strong interest from younger family members in compliant digital asset allocation.
