According to data from The Block, the monthly on-chain transaction volume of the Ethereum network exceeded $238 billion in July 2025, a month-on-month rise of 70%, reaching the highest level since December 2021 and approaching a new high in four years.
The total number of transactions reached 46.67 million, setting a historical high, an increase of 3.6% compared to the previous peak in May 2021.
The 7-day moving average transaction volume (7DMA) reached 1.64 million transactions per day, approaching the historical record of 1.66 million transactions per day in May 2021;
The number of active addresses has reached 17.55 million, the highest level since May 2021;
While various on-chain indicators showed strong rise, the price of $ETH also reached a multi-year high of $3700 at the end of July.
