List of Finalists for the Sui Liquid Staking Hacker Competition

After more than 40 days of intense competition, the Sui liquid staking hackathon has completed the selection of all projects. The final list of finalists has been announced, with six teams successfully advancing to the Demo Day in each track. Let's get to know these outstanding finalist projects.

1. Aftermath Finance

Aftermath Finance is a comprehensive decentralized trading platform built on Sui Move. It offers CLOB settlement for spot, perpetual contracts, and options, CMMM for long-tail assets and indices, as well as built-in money market features.

2. DegenHive

DegenHive will combine the liquidity DEX with the governance model of HiveVerse NFT, aiming to fully leverage the potential of $SUI on the Sui Network.

3. Haedal Protocol

Haedal is a liquidity staking protocol based on Sui. Users can stake $SUI and receive haSUI in return, while also contributing to the governance and decentralization of the Sui ecosystem. Users can also participate in DeFi activities to earn additional rewards.

4. Interest Protocol

Interest Protocol is a DeFi protocol that supports swapping and lending. Liquidity providers can use LP tokens as collateral to borrow the stablecoin Sui Dollar, thereby offsetting impermanent loss.

5. SUISA

SUISA (SUI Staking Aquarium) is a DeFi protocol on Sui that allows users to stake $SUI and receive stSUI as a reward. Users can also use stSUI to mint NFTs.

6. Volo

Volo is a liquid staking solution on Sui, helping users maximize the utility and liquidity of SUI by providing voloSUI.

2. Bucket Protocol

Bucket Protocol is a CDP protocol on Sui that features non-custodial, immutable, and governance-free characteristics. It aims to improve capital efficiency and stabilize stablecoin prices, becoming the DeFi engine on the Sui network. Users can use $SUI, $BTC, $ETH, and LST as collateral to exchange for the desired tokens at zero interest.

3. Desig

The Desig protocol provides a multi-signature solution suitable for the entire chain, compatible with all DApps on both EVM and non-EVM chains.

4. Kana Labs

Kana Labs is a user-friendly application aimed at DeFi and GameFi, dedicated to collaboratively building the future of web3.

5. Legato

Legato provides a fixed rate solution for liquid staking assets and predicts annual interest rate fluctuations on Sui. The project won first place at the Tokyo WebX Move Hackerthon in July 2023 and is the first project to experiment with yield tokenization on staked Sui objects after the SIP-6 update.

6. Wisp Swap

WispSwap is a decentralized trading and prediction market platform on Sui. It features an asymmetric concentrated liquidity DEX with automatically adjusting parameters and uses the Ve (3,3) economic design model to predict decentralized markets.

Review Criteria

• The judging panel will be selected by the Sui Foundation and partners from hackathon collaborators, sponsors, and ecological projects.
• The score is calculated by removing the highest and lowest scores based on preset criteria and then finding the average.
• Standardized scoring will be used to determine the winners of each award category.
• The competition results will be announced on October 2.
