Zero-knowledge proof (ZK) technology has recently garnered widespread attention in the blockchain community, but there are very few projects that can effectively apply this technology. Most projects that claim to use ZK technology often only have the name without the substance, facing numerous challenges such as high technical barriers, expensive operating costs, and complex operations.
However, a project called Succinct is changing this situation. The project takes a unique approach by viewing ZK technology as infrastructure, simplifying its application process through technical and engineering means. The core innovation of Succinct is the development of a ZK virtual machine called SP1. This virtual machine allows developers to write code using the familiar Rust programming language without the need to learn complex circuit languages.
