It feels like Hong Kong's economy is still a bit sluggish.

1. Sitting by the roadside eating takeout - the real estate agent next door is on the phone, probably talking to the owner - generally speaking, high-end properties are not being sold at a loss, and they are hardly moving at all; a 10% discount is considered good, and some are down 30% with no interest at all... Pressing the owner to sell quickly...
The most classic part is - the real estate agent hung up the phone and immediately added a bottle of cola.

He let out a sigh - for a moment, he actually didn't know whether it was the effect of carbon dioxide or feelings of grievance and helplessness.

2. Jiuji Beef Brisket. Went to eat with friends and ended up forgetting to break the cash... Could only hand the boss lady a 500 HKD banknote to pay.

It turns out I was already prepared to receive the boss lady's "eye roll" and ancestral greetings... But guess what happened... What I got instead was a "smile" and thank you (not even a "no problem"!)

They were once so proud and strong.
It's not that money can't be made that makes people bow down, but the lack of hope.
