Meta received a legal threat from Twitter after launching its platform Threads, reaching more than 30 million users. Alex Spiro, one of the famous lawyers of Twitter, sent a letter to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, claiming that Meta had hired former Twitter employees and these employees still had access to Twitter's confidential information. Spiro requested Meta not to use Twitter's confidential mode of operation and not to access confidential information. Meta spokesperson Andy Stone denied the allegations and stated that none of Meta's engineering team worked on Twitter. In addition, a former senior executive of Twitter also denied these allegations. Elon Musk also touched on this issue, stating that cheating cannot be accepted.
