NAACP warns Musk's xAI: Resolve environmental violations within 60 days or face a lawsuit.
[Chain News] PANews, June 19th, reported that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) recently sent a letter to Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company xAI, demanding that it resolve issues allegedly violating the Clean Air Act within 60 days or face a lawsuit. The NAACP accused xAI of operating 26 unlicensed gas turbines at its Memphis data center, failing to install necessary pollution control equipment, which could make it the largest industrial polluter in the area.
