1.1 Why did my streamer application fail?

The main reasons for streamer application rejection are:

1. Incomplete identity verification.
2. Streamer avatar not meeting requirements.
3. Application reason not meeting requirements.
4. Banned streamers using sub-accounts to apply.

1.2 Why did my go live application fail?

Failure to apply for live streaming is usually due to the following reasons:

1. Cover image not meeting requirements.
2. Live theme or introduction content not meeting requirements (must be related to the cryptocurrency industry).
3. Incorrect Application Method: Filled out the GateLive Streamer Application Form for Live Streaming Application.

Suggested cover image:

1. Recommended ratio: 800 * 456 (16:9).
2. Cover image requirements: Must be related to the cryptocurrency industry and must not contain official/other social media platform logos, personal contact information, or non-compliant elements or content.

1.3 How long does live streaming approval take?

GateLive will review your application within 24 hours. For any questions or assistance, feel free to contact us.

1.4 Why was my live stream banned?

Live streams may be banned for displaying information that violates platform regulations, such as personal contact information, logos of other trading platforms, or using third-party trading software. 2.2 Streamer subscription reward :

Streamers can obtain subscription fees by activating the subscription function. Setting rules:

1. KYC (Identity verification) must be completed before setting the “exclusive subscription”.
2. Your VIP level must be level 1 or above.
3. Your subscribers would be entitled to view any exclusive posts and live streams you make.
4. The income from the subscription will be settled every 30 days and credited to your account after settlement. All the fees are wholly distributed to live streamers.

Streamer Fan Clubs are exclusive spaces designed for content creators to engage with their audience. Streamers can share live stream announcements, event updates, multimedia posts, and more—all in one place. 2.4 How do I choose between “Public” and “Private” Clubs?

Streamers can select the privacy setting based on their goals:
Public clubs are ideal for expanding reach and visibility, perfect for growing your fanbase.
Private clubs help cultivate a premium, close-knit space for core fans, enhancing exclusive interactions and long-term loyalty.

2.5 What are the requirements to create a Streamer Fan Club?

To ensure quality and manageability, creators must meet the following criteria:
Streamers must complete at least 3 active streaming days and 5 total streams before applying.

3.Other Livestream FAQ

3.1 Live Stream Interrupted or Lagging?

This issue is usually caused by an unstable network connection of the streamer. We recommend using a stable wired or Wi-Fi network.
To check your network status, monitor the speed and block color at the bottom right of OBS. If it turns red, it indicates slow network speed, and switching networks may be required.

3.2 How to Guide Users to Join Fan Groups?

*Please Note: The streamer needs to select “Publicize Fan Group” in the fan group settings, and users must update their app to version 6.12.0 or above to see the fan group entrance.

1. Fan Group Entry in the Live Room: Viewers can click the “Fan Group” button at the top right corner of the live room to join directly.
   
2. Fan Group Entry on the Streamer’s Personal Page: Viewers can visit the streamer’s personal page and click “Join My Fan Group” to join the group.
   

3.3 How to contact personal admin?

Please refer to the following guide images (the app must be updated to version 6.5.0 or above).

3.4 How to Start a Live Stream on Mobile?

1. After your live stream application has been approved, enter the streamer page via the Gate app and click on the “To Start” live stream.
2. Press the “Play” button to start the live stream. For more details on mobile streaming, refer to How to Start a Live Stream?

3.5 How to Cancel a Live Stream?

If there is an error in your live stream content or if the scheduled time is inconvenient, you can reschedule the live stream to overwrite the previous one. There’s no need to cancel the live stream.

3.6 How to View the Comment Section During the Live Stream?

You can view comments by entering your live room on either the web or mobile app.

3.7 Pin Comments Feature in the Live Room:

3.8 When is the Live Mining Program and GateLive Copy Trading Bonus Income Distributed, and Where Can It Be Checked?

The bonus income of the previous week will be calculated every Monday, and will be distributed to the streamer’s wallet in USDT within 7 working days (The accumulated commission should be more than 0.1 USDT to meet the minimum distribution requirement. ), check details in “Assets—Spot”.
