Consensus is a fundamental concept in blockchain technology, referring to the process by which all participating nodes in a decentralized network agree on the validity of transactions and the sequence of blocks added to the blockchain. In a blockchain network, without a centralized authority to verify and record transactions, a consensus mechanism is essential to ensure data consistency and reliability.

Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) is a blockchain consensus mechanism in which token holders vote to elect a group of representatives, known as validation nodes, to verify transactions and package blocks. These elected nodes take turns producing blocks and earning rewards, which are then shared proportionally with the token holders who voted for them. DPoS enhances network efficiency and transaction speed.

Select a node from a list; Click Stake, enter the number of tokens (votes) to stake, and click Confirm to initiate the transaction.

Users must stake their tokens with chosen verification nodes. By voting for these nodes, users can earn a share of the block rewards when the nodes successfully produce blocks. The rewards are allocated proportionally to all users who voted for the nodes. This method allows users to participate in network maintenance and benefit from staking their tokens.

On the personal profile page, users can cancel their stakings (votes) or claim their staking rewards.

Potential Risks to Consider: 1. Market Volatility: The value of staked tokens may decrease due to market fluctuations. 2. Technical Risks: There may be vulnerabilities or attacks on smart contracts or staking platforms.
